Good short sweet hike. Trail can be a little tough to follow, tons of fallen over trees

Very short, very easy trail to stretch the legs. Easy going through the switchbacks to the lake where, like others have said, the trail kind of disappears and you have to climb over some logs and boulders. Had fun climbing and jumping rocks. Great view of the lake

It was raining today but the trail is in good condition and very hikeable even in the rain. The surface is good but rocky. The trail is well marked. For the short hike it's worth getting out and taking a look. The creek crossing is beautiful.

Did this today to help get me acclimated before some bigger hiking. What a nice hike. Family friendly, but as you approach the lake, you are greeted with a pile of dead trees. To get better views, you should keep going just slightly to the left and then scramble over some good sized rocks down to the lake. Fantastic view from there. I have hiking shoes with a good grip, but if you are in flip flops, I wouldn't try it. I also wouldn't be caught dead hiking in flip flops, but that's another story.

July 29-30, 2020 Well, whoever made this trail on AllTrails definitely didn't do it right. It's about six switchbacks and just over half a mile to the lake. (I am suggested a route update.) A very short, but very pretty hike. Doable by anyone. We parked at the trailhead and hiked up to the lake in about 12 minutes. From there, we scrambled over a huge boulder field for about 10-15 minutes until we found a campsite that looked fairly used. We were the only people out there, which was nice. I think there might be 2-3 campsites around the lake total, but it's difficult to navigate the boulders, especially with gear, so my guess is that no one ever really goes out here that often. Still, we found the quiet and the view to be quaint and nice. Hike itself was easy until the lake, where the trail disappears and any further progress must be made over a boulder field.

Very fun short stretch your legs hike with a great mountain lake pay off at the end. Great for families, however, older folks make have trouble with lots of rocks in the trail. There is also a great river beach below the trail head for the kids to play in. Also, a lot of shade so a great stroll for a sunny day.

A great little hike with switchbacks up to stunning views of Weller Lake. This is a perfect leg stretch while you zig-zag up The Pass.

Completed on 6.26.20. Was beautiful! Easy quick hike, but that usually means busy, which it was. Would recommend bringing a paddleboard or something if you have one!

Very enjoyable hike. Was able to walk the entire trail with our almost 4 year old without any complaints. He enjoyed exploring the rocks and lake at the top.
