Washington Park Loop is a 2.3 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Denver, Colorado that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
We have done all the other paths so this time we decided to walk around all the lakes, it was a beautiful fall walk, much better than in March when it had no leaves, but this park is always a nice area, so much to do and see
Great as city trails go. There was great combo of sun and shade. The garden areas were a nice touch as well. Lots of porta potties but all were well...um...nasty to put it bluntly. I really liked that you could take the small walking path next to the lake or have an entire car free lane to use. It would be great for parents with strollers.
Awesome park with plenty of trails to offer. Air quality was great.
Nice first visit to this park. I liked that there were several trails/sidewalks so that the outer one I was using wasn’t packed. Everyone is very respectful, especially when passing.
this used to be one of my favorite trails in town, due to the lovely lake views short drive and dirt/unpaved path. apparently 95% of the visitors here don't even think it's necessary to bring a mask much less use one in the middle of a pandemic however. looks like I'll have to stick to making a drive out of town to find more conscientious beings to share the trail with. I won't be back for some time... and when I do I will wear more water resistant shoes incase I have to run in the grass to maintain social distance, with those who dont mind breathing directing in your face or down your neck as they pass.
