A great dirt trail on a ridgetop with nice mountain views.

Directions from Highway 36: Exit the highway on Table Mesa Drive, south of Boulder. Turn west and follow Table Mesa Drive approximately 3.5 miles to the NCAR facility.
Awesome hike! A little icy at times for microspikes helped. The climb to the top was STEEP!
Just solid ice going towards Green Mountain, treacherous without spikes.
This trail itself is nothing special it is short and wooded. But if you keep going it leads you to the NCAR trail which has a nice view of the flat irons. Today it was unseasonably warm and the trail was dry.
