There are two trails going up from the Brown's Creek Trail head. The trail on the north side is Brown's Creek and the one on the south side is wagon loop. Wagon Loop should be called baby doll head trail as it is nothing but loose rock about the size of baby doll heads. It is crap and very difficult. Brown's Creek Trail is in wonderful shape. Don't waste your time on Wagon Loop trail.

I would say the same as most people go for Browns Falls no the Wagon loop. I killed my knees on the way down. I took it as a detour to see something else after going up to the falls. After nearly breaking my ankles I was so happy to be back on solid ground. Again Brows Falls are amazing and worth it, but this trail was not very fun...

Definitely don't do this the Wagon Loop hike alone without going to the Brown's Creek Falls. Most of the elevation gain is getting up to the Colorado Trail. Once there, it is another 1.2 miles up to the falls (making the total hike about 6 miles), but the last 1.2 mi to the falls was easy, beautiful and the best part of the hike. I'd rate the hike to the falls a 4/5, but it's not yet on AllTrails as a stand-alone hike. Most of the horse crap was along the Little Brown's Creek (North) side of the loop and up to the falls. There were also more wild flowers and vistas on the North side, but was high above the creek. The Browns Creek (South) side of the loop was rockier with no views, but a gradual climb and closer the creek at spots. The small stretch of the Colorado Trail was also nice (this is where I saw some columbines, campsites, and you cross the creeks).

Lame. Climbs 1000' immediately, away from stream most of the time. Few views. Wagon Loop portion of trail VERY rocky and difficult. Won't do again unless an out and back to the Falls.

Nice trail. Passed by three horses and a few people. Beautiful views in a nice area.

This is a pleasant forest hike. There was really only one point along the trail with a good view into the valley to the southeast. I took two dogs with me and they enjoyed Browns Creek a few different times when it flowed near the trail (within 100 feet; you can hear it from the trail). The grade wasn't too difficult. The path was mostly rocks/stones and sand. It was also obvious the trail was used for a lot of horse riding. Overall, it was a nice, light morning jaunt.
