The trail is well traveled and easy to follow in some areas, other parts are still covered in knee-deep soft snow. Gorgeous on a sunny snow day and we saw several young deer on the trail.

Can have allot of mountain bikers. Easy trail with lots of nice view and wildlife.

Pretty Trail. Great views of different geology like red rocks. On a weekday their was next to no people or bikes. My mileage came up around 10, not nine. Not much sun cover, so it was pretty toasty mid day. Only saw turkeys, one deer, a lot of birds and bugs. No rattlesnakes, but be on the lookout for them! Wore my Chaco’s end it was great footwear.

Excellent hike-- great views of mountains and bluffs. Saw deer and meadowlark, and wildflowers. About 3.4 miles in a beautiful loop. Had to cross mini-streams. No dogs allowed. Clean restrooms at site. Limited parking. Visit Masonville Mercantile after hike.

A small portion of this trail is paved or gravel, but the rest of it is regular mountain trail. There are some areas of climbing and elevation gain as you wander around the foothills. It's very pretty, but no shade makes for difficulties in warm weather.

Very nice trail. It is well maintained and had lots of interpretive signs along the way. I went on a Thursday afternoon and saw almost no one. It was a bit snowy and muddy, but half the trail is gravel so it was not bad.

Parking lot for by 10 AM today. It doesn’t matter the time of year, be there EARLY on the weekends!

I just hiked to the top and back down. 7 miles round trip. It’s a good trail. The section that I hiked had no cover due to the forest fire. Still a good hike. I ran across a herd of elk towards the top. Probably about 40 of them? I came up over a ridge and startled them and they ran the other way.. Bobcat Ridge is a great hike no matter which trail you choose. Highly recommend.

My last hike of the year. My first time on this trail, and I was impressed. The climb was not real steep, and for those spots that were steep, benches were available here and there on the trail to rest a moment. Arriving at 10am on a cold morning had a fairly empty parking lot. Which tells me early arrival in warmer months is probably well advised.

Fun & relatively easy trail! Also, don't miss Eden Valley Spur trail.

Nice quick run. Flat to rolling terrain, mostly open with no trees until you get to the back half. I saw one deer creeping through the trees mid-way through. The trail was well marked.
