Nice hike near Ouray to a foot bridge with great views. There is an access fee to these falls for $5 per adult. From the nature center, simply follow the labeled trail that will start up a steep set of stairs and then continue ascending the hill until you reach a steel bridge across Box Canyon. Below you will be the falls though they are hard to see from this vantage point.

Definitely worth the $5 entrance fee! Also take the time and hike up the stairs to the walkway over the canyon. Great views up there as well.

It is a. Ice hike! Well maintained. Worth the 5 dollars. I do not see why people can spend much more money on other worthless experiences but complain about paying for an experience like this. It costs money to upkeep trails and bridges and clean up after people. With that said, it is a great hike and good for all levels. There are a couple places where the trail is a little rocky. Go to the lower falls too. There you get a sense of how much water is roaring through and the spray from the falls is nice.

Only reason not 5 stars is that it costs $5/adult and $3/child to hike here. This was a short but fun walk. Easy enough that our kids (5 and 3) were able to hike up the trail. The bridge and little tunnel at the top are cool!

Amazing view on geological formation. Not difficult at all and very short but not for people with bad knees for example.

I wouldn't call this a hike, but hearing the roar of the waterfall and exploring the canyon was a five-star experience for me. I went late on a weekday when nobody else was there, so I felt like I was discovering something hidden all by myself. Super cool place.
