The Uplands Trail is located in the South Rim section of the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park near Montrose, Colorado. The trail connects the Visitor Center with the other end of the Rim Rock Nature Trail near the campground passing through Gamble Oak and other shrubs along the way.
