- This hike is two different trails. It's a double out and back.
- (done in summer time) can't really see Tyndall Glacier from here. Need to take the Flattop trail instead
- If you want to avoid people go before 7am. Families/crowds hit the trail head between 7-9. Personally I like to enjoy the scenery in peace n quiet
- When you go left (Towards Dream lake) it's a well maintained trail that isn't too challenging. I would definitely take my 60 year old out of shape dad on this trail! I would rate it moderate because there is a little bit of vertical gain. You get to see three lakes! They're beautiful. HIGHLY recommend sunrise and the Golden Hour for this home
- If you go right (towards Bear lake) it's more of a walking trail around the lake with other trails off of it
