Turner Gulch OHV Road is a 19.1 mile point-to-point trail located near Lake George, Colorado that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for ohv/off road driving.
This easy county road runs mostly north-south between Tarryall Reservoir at the north end and highway 24 at the south end just east of the town of Hartsel and the intersection with highway 9. It provides some amazing views of the mountain ranges. The trailhead is easy to find from the northern end. The trail twists and turns a bit as you get past the water, and then it turns south. The road is always easy to find and it always follows county road 23 until the very end. There are a few side roads up into the hills just east of the trail, but stay on the main road to stay on Turner Gulch Road. You'll soon see the pointy-but-wide Schoolmarm Mountain near the road and then the road turns a bit west to go around the peak of Rishaberger Mountain.
