Very fun trail for ATVing. THere is something for everyone here. It is all easy or moderate. Lot's of ghost mines and towns to see. Can get a little technical once you go past Hancock, but nothing too bad. Recommend an ATV or modified Jeep past Hancock....it get's rocky. The Alpine Tunnel is something to see. Again, ATV or Jeep country. You can use a regular passenger 4WD or AWD on the flat railroad beds...no problem. But again, once you get into the rocky parts of this trail, I highly recommend an ATV or modified Jeep. If you don't own one, rent one. If you do it anyway despite this warning, hey, it's your oil pan.
