Great trail for kids that like to play in creeks. Access was open as of 11/22. Runs behind a school and connects back to the creek.

Local jaunt making the most of a community hub. Concrete path winding along Clear Creek (creek access closed at this time). Passes by an RV Park, ball fields, and playgrounds then across the creek and skirting along the sports facilities at the School of Mines. Early morning backlit the heights of North and South Table Mountains and warm light on the slopes along Clear Creek Canyon.

Excellent easy walk. I wouldnt call it a hike. Paved sidewalk. River access points are all closed for the Crazy Corona, but lots of neat bronze? statues and informational plaques along the way. Several joggers, lots of families. Stroller friendly.

Walking

Meh-more of a park walk than a hike. Nice park, but access to creek was closed lowering the fun. Paved sidewalk, well cared for. Sparse shade. Fine if you are in Golden already but not worth a drive from Denver.

Recommend parking on 11th Street. We deviated from this trail and walked under the overpass. It takes you along the creek and we just went out and back until we hit the metal bridge. Then we did the actual loop, which was mostly paved. This trail was within the neighborhood/city. Would definitely do it again, just would park off of 11th Street next time.

Community trail that winds through city park and area neighborhood. Wide, paved path that loops around river. Nice for those looking for easy walk

Aloha inter webs, I walked this trail on a sunny but cold (it snowed recently) Sunday for Pokemon Go Community day. Lots of people out that day, well kept path easy walk for the family. The river is cool to look at and listen to. #letsgoforawalk

Such a fun trail for nature and people watching. Especially attractive to tourists who are not acclimated to the altitude (mostly flat trail) and want to see a vibrant, active Golden.

Hiking

Quick and easy hike if you don't have much time, or if you're with people who can't do a more strenuous hike, and very close to Denver. Trees provided lots of nice shade, so good for the summer time. I'm sure those leaves will be very pretty in the fall.

The sound of the river and watching people kayak was about the only thing enjoyable about this hike.
