Definitely not easy, but doable! Straight uphill, but you follow along the creek, so very pretty and peaceful. Getting to ridge is just half the battle. Also agree with early review... highly recommend 4wd or car with high clearance. Road can be rough.

Not EASY. Hike is straight up with no switchbacks. I only made it halfway which still had a glorious view above the tree line. Also, add 2 miles if you don't own a 4WD vehicle because you're gonna have to park further away from the trailhead.
