Near the top of the pass, find the trailhead for the Wolverine Trail. This non-motorized trail is excellent for mountain biking. A tough climb over about 5 miles takes you just above treeline where you get spectacular views of the west side of Rocky Mountain National park. From there you have 15 miles of mostly downhill all the way back to Grand Lake.
