Here is a trail guide i made today to help you understand what this hike looks like: https://youtu.be/9qzCloPGdUg St. Mary's Falls is one of Colorado Springs, CO's most popular trails! At around a 10k in length and only 1,400 ft elevation gain, this incredibly scenic hiking trail offers a lot to take in, especially while the Aspens are changing. A little bit for everyone, from mountain views, to waterfalls, to forest overlooks. There is a reason this trail is rating #2 for CS hiking. Check it out!

This was a great hike! The last leg of it is a bit challenging with a good amount of elevation gain but was completely worth it. I was a little disappointed at the amount of dog poop and trash along the trail. Respect people, and please clean up after yourself and your dog.

The last part of the hike was def a challenge but the waterfall was beautiful and worth it. It gets a little narrow and I slipped but didn't fall down the mountain.

HikingGreat!

Great first hike in COS with my sons! Loved the creek. We refreshed ourselves here and there on the way up given the warm day. The falls were nice but volume of water wasn’t flowing much this time of year. The last leg of the hike had a fairly intense elevation gain.

I loved the trail. Definitely show up early as parking lots and road back was PACKED when I got done @ 1100. Started at 7am. Be aware at mountain bikers use this trail as well. Stay vigilant

Fantastic late summer after work hike; bring a bag to tidy up in the cave on the way and snag some graffiti pictures while you’re at it! You will likely encounter other friendly hikers, along with fearless chipmunks, bashful does, and a whole host of songbirds! Can’t wait to come back for spring in bloom!

Amazing hike, last mile steep but not to bad. Great morning temperatures, in the trees for most part. Many stopping points along the river. I would definitely do this again. Actually 2nd time to hike this. Enjoy!!!!

This was a nice trail. There are still wildflowers along the way, and the falls are pretty! The beginning of the trail is on a dirt road, and people on dirt bikes were zooming by back and forth, so that was a little irritating until it became a narrow trail.

Good little trail. Follow a dirt road for a mile then the trail starts. Runs along a river pretty much the entire way up through the forest. Only a couple views

Falls were not that impressive in August but would probably be better in Spring. Still beautiful! Trail has a few inclines but definitely moderate. Tougher if you’re not used to the altitude.
