HikingGreat!

Nice trail. Ran into a number of archery elk/deer hunters and some ATVs. Everyone was respectful of each other. Took the left fork at end of trail to Baker Creek Trail. Nice side hike for additional 2 miles.

Good exercise but not great views. After the first mile and a half it was just dense forest the entire way.

HikingGreat!

Good trail but starts more as a small dirt road . Views better on the way back . If you continue on Baker trail it is more wooded and follows nice creek with some decent views . Went on trail mid July 2020

I have always loved this trail, and you can get to Indian trail to the north or blue and bear lake to the south. Beautiful views. The sand on the trail was too hot for my pups paws, so we had to stop early. There’s a haunted meadow on this hike if you can google the story it’s a fun tale. Spring Creek was mostly dry, unfortunately for my dog.

We hiked from Spring Creek Trailhead. I thought we could possibly drive farther, but it is 4 wheeler only past the trailhead sign. So we walked up the road approx 3 miles. It was a good hike, got into some aspens, but we turned around needing to head home. Want to go back and hike farther or do a loop sometime in the future connecting Spring Creek, Dodgeton Creek, Indian Creek, and Baker trails.

This walk 5/4/20 from Spring Creek trailhead to Baker Creek water tower is primarily uphill. It is 3.1 miles one way. This would be an easy hike as a loop starting at Spring Creek as the way back would be mostly downhill. We started this hike from Baker Creek trailhead at the water tower. As of today the trail is clear and easy to traverse.

First to Review

A great snowshoeing trail, but the sun and warm weather had melted much of the snow. I could have used Microspikes for most of it. Still, a beautiful sunny day and I had the trail to myself.
