Nice trail with beautiful mountain & river views. Liked that there were separate paths for bikers & runners. Nice mix of sun & shade. Great for all levels

Good walking, biking and running trail. Highly trafficked but lots of short detour and adjacent trails along the way.

Second time here. Pleasant, easy walk. Lots of grasshoppers (Ew..). Very peaceful. Took us 45 mins with a dog. 2 miles. Went around noon. Small parking lot but there were spaces.

Trail is paved and dirt trail rides along it. It also goes out in a prairie off the beaten path with fewer peeps! I would recommend for anyone needing a flat/lightly rolling hills.

This is a great paved path to hike with kids when other trails are icy or muddy. We only did part of it starting at the Nature Center. Lots of bikes, but we really enjoyed it.

Nice walk. I would go early in the morning. Can get hot in the afternoon.

We started at Littleton and walked North towards Denver on a Saturday morning. While there is gravel next to pavement for the duration of the trail, this is heavily used by road bikers. Don’t expect great nature or scenic views but instead focus on the ease of walking. We had a stroller with us so no complaints from a family with a small child. These is extremely sparse shad so make sure to bring your hat and sunscreen.

Great trail for riding, walking, great connectivity to other Regional trails that are good for commuting and touring.

Great trail. Paved and gravel run parallel for most of the way! There are also places to jump off on trails that get you closer to the platte! Pretty flat and easy. To and fro is a nice distance to get in some marathon training too!

beautiful wide paved trail that follows the river (often on both sides). Signage is clear and frequent. It's crowded on weekends. Kiosks with bike tools, bathrooms, and water are frequent as are parks and pull-offs.

Perfect family friendly hike! Beautiful scenery and miles of paved, well kept trail for biking. I’ve taken my six year old on her bike and on foot and we see something new every time- she plays in the park’s nature center afterwards and has a blast. Also backs up to Breckenridge Brewery so we usually stop in for a round of corn hole, too :)

It's pretty epic not so much the end near beaver creek, it's an Industrial area. Also you can just walk to the Hudsons Gardens! There is more than just a hike

Enjoyed nice hike along the South Platte trail. Easy hike. A bit busy with bikes. Paved bike trails and crushed gravel walking/hiking trails. Great views of the mountains and river.
