Nice, flat trail for walking. Lots of fire ants and gnats flying around the river. I definitely see this being more ideal for bikes.

It was a gorgeous, quiet night for a bike ride. A lot of bugs near river but that’s to be expected

Good day for a ride but definitely a lot of bugs along the trail this time of year and quite a few people out.

Nice spot for running or biking. Very residential so does not give you that good old nature feeling.

A good traffic-free run when the foothill trails are too muddy. Relatively small parking lot at the south end which was not quite full at 10 AM. Some hard-surfaces but much of the trail is gravel or dirt alongside the bike path. More scenic at the southern end with trail side diversions like Carson Nature Center, Hudson Gardens/Nixon’s Coffee, and Breckenridge Brewery if you have time to dawdle. A distinctly industrial feel in the middle section. Skyline views near the end. Hailed a ride share back to the start from Vanderbilt Park.

Tried to walk this from the north end. didn't make it more than a mile- it's right next to a very noisy highway, narrow path with lots of bikes, and broken glass, garbage, and graffiti everywhere. I assume the south end is nicer.

Nice trail with beautiful mountain & river views. Liked that there were separate paths for bikers & runners. Nice mix of sun & shade. Great for all levels
