This was an incredible hike - definitely a challenge at some points. Not much shade so bring sunscreen, a hat, and a good attitude!

trail does not include horsetooth rock. I added it to my itinerary and ended up with 10.3 miles and 2400 feet of elevation gain. a good part of the trail is on service road.

Beautiful hike. Not too many people out on the trail and awesome view on top. Ran into a few bikers so be cautious.

Absolutely beautiful. I’ve hiked almost every trail at Horsetooth Mountain Open Space and this one is nice. I never stick to the planned route and end up hiking way more because I just love the views!

4/29 Absolutely beautiful day for a hike! I decided to add the peak of Horsetooth Mountain to this route, which made it about 10.5 miles total. I would rate this as on the harder side of moderate if you add Horsetooth peak, which was the highlight of the hike.

Just a little bit of snow. Good climbs at the beginning. Easy trail to follow. Better views on the 2nd half of the hike as you’re higher up and along the sides of the ridge. Long hike but well worth it for the exercise

Definitely tough, uphill for about the first 3.5 to 4 miles. Good hike! Only thing was trail was closed about halfway through so had to take another one.

I went towers to HT Rock over to HT falls across the west ridge back to Towers. Nice, beautiful and a little busy when I finished at 10a on a Sunday in March.

Great trail. Lot of trails to branch off of since spring trail still closed for nesting birds. We will be back

Beautiful trail! $9 to park, bathrooms are open in winter. Trail was mostly packed snow with some areas of mud. Spikes helped! Nice views of the water the whole time

Steep incline at the beginning, micro spikes came in handy for some sections, but in general it was pretty muddy. After you get over the first slope the trail is well maintained. Was unable to finish the trail as shown due to nesting bird prey closing. Overall well worth it due to the beautiful scenery and being close to town.
