My family was camping at Reverends Ridge campground over July 4 week and wanted to do a loop trail. This is a nice trail, rocky in a few areas and has some steep sections to get your heart going. Good for trail running but watch your step. Not sure I would classify as difficult though. As others have mentioned there isn’t a lot of great scenery but a few nice granite outcrops. The trail is marked really well and crosses the creek a few times with sturdy wooden bridges. Other then a few people at dudes fishing hike we didn’t see anyone else on the trail which was nice.
