One of the best hikes in Colorado! Numerous waterfalls, terrific views once you get above treeline, and if you get there in July you'll get to see fantastic meadows in full bloom! Be prepared for some vertical effort, as I calculated this as 15+ miles round trip from the end of Aspen St. The only thing this hike misses is wildlife (ex: elk, moose, sheep), so if you're looking for that I'd suggest spending some time in RMNP on trails such as Mt. Ida.

This was an absolutely amazing hike complete with wildflowers, multiple waterfalls and some snow field crossings when we hit 12,500 ft. even in July. Including the trails to get to Sneffles Highline to/from Telluride this tripe was easily over 15 miles and is a loop. Highly recommended.
