Great city park, has a awesome view of the city as well as the mountain. Very well traveled, and a great place to bike, run, or workout.

This loop is entirely paved and is very well traveled. There are bathrooms on either side of the lake which is nice to have. The lake so beautiful and there are nice views of the city. I prefer a softer surface to run on, otherwise this is a great place to run.

Nice walkway but a tone of geese

I have walked this twice a week, two rounds each. There's a side walk around the entire lake so it's good for strollers, carriages and wheelchairs. Benches along the way for those who just want to sit and enjoy the beauty. Lots of runners. Watch your feet as the geese are plentiful and leave their markings.

Nice loop trail, not very shady but often a nice breeze from the lake. Lots of picnic spots and good city views.

My mum and I walked this with our pups after lunch. There are a fair amount of ppl, dogs and bikes, but we found all rather courteous. There are at least two bathroom stations and plenty of benches. Pretty view but not remote.

Nice city loop. Good views of the foothills. But it is not shaded. Wear your sunscreen.

Lots of people and quiet a bit of trash. Bring bug spray!

I use this trail for long marathon training runs and it's great! A "trail" is a misnomer. It's more of a very wide paved sidewalk that circles the lake. There's a short footbridge at the northeast end of the lake. The trail is shared with walkers, runners, wheelchairs, kids, pets, etc. Sometimes there are walk/runs that are scheduled on this trail too.

There's an adjacent soft dirt trail that runs right alongside the paved trail for portions of it. The bathrooms and water fountains are clean. Plenty of parking!

Good urban "hike." If you have the time, read some of the history on the signs posted at various spots around the lake. This used to be quite the happening scene.

I walk here 1-3 times a week. Pretty lake. Watch for the waterfowl sitting on the old pilings - they look like they're levitating. Good view of the front range mountains.

Has always been safe - never once felt threatened.

Nice lake, paved trails throughout. Can get busy especially on weekends. Good for kids and biking. 2 playgrounds and some picnic areas.
