Scrambled on the boulders south of Emerald Lake to get a better view of the waterfall west of the lake. Only recommend this for those with hiking shoes/boots and experience. 30 minutes up and 30 minutes down just for a short 1/4 mile scramble toward the Pool of Jade. Lots of people, wildflowers beautiful lake photos and good trails. All the lakes are beautiful! If you’re blessed with a little more time and water, you could add Loch Vale (1.6 miles more) after Mills and Jewel.
