Hiking with Garden of Gods group on Wednesday mornings. Out today on Palmer Trail. Finally dried out and in good condition. Just a few patches of ice. Didn’t go all the way to Siamese Twins, cut the over to walk back thru center garden

Nice little “nature walk”. Full of gross kids and a bit touristy

Short fairly easy hike, other than there’s little shade and it was HOT! Definitely recommend doing this one early or in the afternoon. It was hard to find a parking spot as well

Awesome trail. Amazing views and lots of inclines that are challenging in a good way. Went on a weekday afternoon and it wasn't too crowded. I'd definitely recommend it.

Great trail. Parts of trail no shade. Awesome views. Horses on trail slowed us down. Go early.

Definitely worth taking this scenic route— much less tourist traffic overall. Best way to see the park in my opinion!

this trail is full of wonderful views and a nice little challenge at 4.6 miles. There's lots of offshoots of this trail, so be sure to stick to the all trails map. I went close to sunset and had no trouble getting out via headlamp.

Beautiful views

Nice parts and some parts that are pretty barren with not a whole lot to see (compared to the rest of the park). Found the hiking in the north of the park better than in the south. Trail conditions excellent on 5/4/19.

Palmer Trail to Strausenburg to part of Scotsman Loop. Went by Siamese Twins. Took a lot of jogs off trail to scramble on the rocks with my little boy. Saw it snowing on Pikes Peak, stopped early due to rain. Parked at P13. A lot of traffic noise but not a lot of people on these trails today.

Definitely a nice hike. Wouldn’t be the in the top three I’d recommend to someone going to the Garden of the Gods for the first time but certainly worth doing once the top ones are ticked off. Pros: not super busy, especially as you get further away from the big sights. Easy terrain with some ups and downs. Nice views in spots, especially around some of the rock formations but not the best in the park. Cons: horses share the trail in some spots which can make the smells a bit much at times.

Definitely not wheelchair safe. This trail is a mix of a few different trails. Keep an eye on the AllTrails map. A note for other reviewers: please accurately review the trail. Saying this is paved is completely incorrect.
