There is a trailhead at Siena Reservoir so that no surface road riding is necessary. There's no shade on the trail, but lots of picnic sites with shaded tables for resting.

Great for a quick 1 mile trail. PortaPotty, benches, dog waste stations, dock to see water/ ducks, birds and saw a dad fishing with his kids. Easy fir dogs and kids.

It's a path perfect for young kids and out of state visitors. You get a good view of the mountains. It is not paved all the way around, but still ok for strollers. Plenty of bathrooms and picnic tables and benches.
