Sidewinder Trail is a 19 mile moderately trafficked point-to-point trail located near Austin, Colorado that offers scenic views and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

This is a difficult trail but there are many other easier trails right there so you can jump on and off Sidewinder. This is a great 3 season trail, in summer it's too hot though.

Good winter trail because it hardly gets snow and tends to be a little warmer in that area. It is dog friendly and wasn’t very busy when I was there which made it even better. I’ll add this to my trail options.
