The trail has a beautiful setting going in and out of aspen groves.
The only issue is to get to the trailhead you have to go up half mile of a very steep and rutted dirt road. You need a 4x4 or just walk it.

Beautiful autumn hike! Trail in great condition, flaming aspens, and lots of sunshine. Started at southern TH and hiked loop without northern spur - 12.7 miles in a little less than 6 hours. Only saw 1 other person the whole time (biker). Forest, meadows, beaver ponds, and bubbling creeks.
