Shadow Pines Loop Trail is a 3.9 mile moderately trafficked loop trail located near Conifer, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Mostly dry trail and not terribly busy. Easy hike close to Denver, beautiful day. Saw a Red Tail hawk!
Easy, peaceful walk.
Lovely little loop just a short drive from Denver. Hoped to snowshoe but the trail was either dry or packed down, so a hike sufficed instead. Saw maybe a half dozen others out, mostly with dogs.

This is not a hiking trail. It is a city park trail you can find in any neighborhood. If you're looking for a true Colorado hike skip this trail.
Easy run/walk with the fam yesterday! Great for young kids! We were able to chat with fellow dog walkers as well! There are bikers on this trail but everyone communicated well and were very respectful!
