Scotsman Trail Loop is a 1.1 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Colorado Springs, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October.
Connector from main loop trail to Siamese Twins trail in Garden of the Gods Sand rocky surface. Lots of horseback riding. Good hike to see lots of views.
Crowded almost always but early in the morning.
The original submitted drawn trail is actually five seperate trails, which does inclyude the Scotsman loop, but also includes the Palmer, Perkins Central Garden, Strausenback, and Siamese Twins Trails- more of a custom loop than a single trail.
Beautiful Garden of the Gods. Very nice hike and not difficult
Pretty crowded, but Garden of The Gods is always gorgeous! If you're looking for a little peace and quiet with Mother Nature, this ISNT the hike for you. I suggest going deeper in the mountains. But very accessible if you are in Colorado Springs.
lots of other hikers. but it was july 4th weekend.
Great area, plenty of trails for everyone, amazing view
Cute (small) trail, more of a nice meandering walk on the back end of the park. Not quite what I would consider a "hike" but great for those new to the area and inexperienced. Trial links up to quite a few other trails along the way as well.
Beautiful views of the Garden of the Gods!
We are new to the area so we are still discovering trails around here. This was a nice trail, we finished at a good time as foot traffic was beginning to pick up. Saw lots of birds, a deer, beautiful scenery. I like that they do trail rides for people on horseback.
