Schofield Pass Trail is a 2.5 mile moderately trafficked out and back trail located near Elkton, Colorado that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as difficult. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from March until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

In spite of a constant descent you really dont appreciate the return trip until you do it. a great hike, poeple very courteous. A bit of high traffic with the SUV and off road vehicles. This was Labor day wknd.
