Easy, scenic trail. Took about an hour including many photo stops

It was a perfect choice for us given the time constraints we had. Thank you to the prior suggestions to make it an out and back along the Creek. Easy trail and beautiful views as we walked around the Sawmill Reservoir.

Fairly easy walk, uphill all the way to the reservoir, but nothing that requires much exertion. Reservoir is a nice place to take a break for five minutes or so. Not overly pretty, but nice enough. Not a lot of people on the trail when we took it. Loop is approximately 1.3 miles, and it goes back-and-forth near the ski lift, which detracts from the scenic view. Some nice stream views on the way to the reservoir. A good first hike in Breckenridge, while adjusting to the altitude.

Stay on the trail by the stream. Do an up and back. Very nice hike along the water. Stay away from the lake BOEC has commercialized the area. Bull Moose in the area today.

Relaxing but ultimately a snooze fest in terms of views and technical aspects.

Easy hike, took the trail to the right, came back the same route. View at the reservoir was beautiful. On the return trip saw a deer grazing near the trailhead. She posed for pictures.

Easy hike up to and around reservoir. Only been in CO for 36 hours so needed something to acclimate. Saw young and old on trail. Scenery was lovely except for the chairlift.

gorgeous easy hike. first half wooded and amazing views of river with lots of little trails to get closer views! lake is very pretty, lots of places to sit and take in the view. 2nd half goes thru some beautiful private property before looping back around. first half is definitely worth doing twice instead of looping around after the lake.

Take the Sawmill path on the right first. Once you reach the Reservoir, go back to the trailhead on the same path. The other one is not worth it!

Great starter hike! Beautiful views, lots of families around too. A little confusing in the beginning, there is a no trespassing sign about a third of the way up, but if you take the stairs when you see them you’ll be fine.

Easy hike, beautiful surroundings. Did this the first day at altitude which was good for a flat lander.

This is a great trail that we make a part of our yearly trip with our kids who are 8&4. This is our first hike every year and often our final. It’s a great easy hike to start the day. We’ve managed to see a fox every year as well. Pics at the top by the lake are amazing and there are benches there to take a break and snack. They just did a ton of work this year at the trailhead. Very nice.

Great trail. Had young children and they did just fine. There were some areas we had to cross that were muddy but there were logs across or a way around the muddiest part. Great first trail walk in the Rockies.

Nice trail, especially the north side of the loop (right side ascending). South side is civilization.

Beautiful trail that goes right beside small river. Two issues that could make this trail better. 1. Start of trail is not very clear. Follow the Snowflake Trailhead sign. 2. When you get to the reservoir the trail is not clearly marked at all. I’m glad we had this app to follow!
