Someone has been feeding the squirrels and chipmunks on this trail. There was a large bag of sunflower seeds at the trailhead, and more squirrels than I’ve ever seen at the first overlook! Surrounded by empty shells, stretched out on the rocks... Super cute, but I’m skeptical whether it’s okay to feed them!

Highly recommend if you are looking for an easy hike with great views. Very short simple walk around a little mountain with absolutely breathtaking views. Also had a cute little man made hut at one end.

This was the easiest hike to get the best view in a short amount of time. The trail was still covered in snow at this time in April. We wore sneakers but wished we had on our boots to navigate through the mud puddles and slippery slush.

It was good to get out of the car stretch the legs. Views were pretty cool even with foggy conditions. If you are in the area its worth the quick stop. Looks like a great area to bike as welll.

Easy to do in the snow!

This is the perfect trail to take guests-or people who don’t otherwise hike- to see some awesome views. Flat, packed down snow with a few icy spots but nothing you couldn’t do in just boots. Amazing views for a short stroll through the woods!

Beautiful, snow covered trail. Really easy, short loop walk, but well worth it because of the gorgeous views. Not crowded when we went on a Saturday afternoon.

I don’t normally do reviews but this trails views are spectacular, and the trail, even in the snow, was great. When I did the walk, at Christmas and there a was a good 18-24” snow on the ground but there was a narrow packed trail the entire way. Be careful though, this trail gets close to some severe drops, so pay attention when admiring the beauty. This is a great hike, when adjusting to the high altitude. The overlook at midpoint of hike is awesome. To spice things up, I broke off the trail at one point and climbed another maybe 50-60 vertical feet of knee deep snow, and was rewarded with views over a forested area. This short easy hike is great. Have fun.

This is my go to for friends coming up for first time. It’s easy and beautiful. A great scenic view. Perfect for getting acclimated to the altitude. Amazing for kids to sit and feed the chipmunks in the summer.

This is a nice easy trail with an incredible view!! We did not get to do the whole loop because the trail got pretty icy, but it was pretty easy to get to the overlook. Gorgeous!!
