this trail used to be a lot of fun when i was here about 6yrs ago. seems like they are clearing out some dead trees and graded the trail to bring in machinery 1-2yrs ago i'm guessing. the ruts are 6" deep in places and i bet it will be pretty fun in a couple few years, as long as they don't grade it every year. still a fun trail because it was pretty high speed , pretty good views, and i saw some fall colors. all in all a good trail. if you'd like to see a video i have one up at:

07 ranger manual
no lift
no locker
no sway bar

youtube trail channel: b roll offroad

have fun!

Easy trail except for the optional 357A and 357B loop. The optional loop is very steep and narrow. Need high ground clearance and 4x4 preferably with a rear locker. Other than the loop never needed 4x4. Beautiful but busy on weekends!

Very easy trail with some pretty good views. I didn't even need 4wd.

This trail is great for off roading. Most of the trail is easy with a few moderate parts in there, Watch out in the spring because there are two creeks that you will cross. There are a couple great views of Pikes Peak from the West. Watch out for dirt bikers and four wheelers, but they are usually good about letting you know how many there are in their group. There are also some great camp sites along the way.
