Nice trail. Way off the beaten path. Very few other hikers. Nowhere is the trail marked Rosedale Peak but you can find. The "peak" wasn't too exciting, view was OK but not great for a 2,300 ft gain in elevation. Will need to guess trail direction in a few places but we managed it pretty well.

Beautiful Saturday to hike this trail. We did not go to the end, but about 3+ miles in. Pretty terrain and scenery changes, cool views from time to time. I liked that it was forested a good part of the way. Further up you get, there are more aspen, area is greener and lots of flora. Our group had a great time, stopped to sit on some shades rocks for snack break about 2 hours up, and headed back down. Worth the trip for us!
