Fair trail close to city. Be careful for rattlesnakes.

North route is steep dirt road without much to see. South route longer but more naturey. Terrific 360 degree views from the top where you can clearly make out downtown, the Flat Iron, Pike's Peak and Red Rocks. Nice wild flowers.

GORGEOUS. But due to the recent snow, the trail was very muddy and there were a few places where you had to walk through snow or a small stream. Regardless, had a great time!

Just went this evening, definitely not a great day to go (it snowed last night). If you just want to reach the summit, it's only slightly muddy/wet, but that first mile is intense! Also, the trail splits and was a little confusing. Just follow the arrow that points back to the parking lot and you'll be fine.
