Nice hike to do with the dogs. It was very moody tho. But if you want something quick and close to Denver. This is a good place!
It was a very nice trail, not too busy. It was very windy and no shade. The parking lots is not too big and was very crowded, since there’s also a dog park there.
Short easy trail to stretch the legs close to home. Not many people on the trail but pretty muddy in some spots.
way too muddy. Not recommended right now but is a nice trail when drier.
Park across the street at Forsberg Park and there's a short tunnel under Alameda that drops you right at the beginning/end of this trail. I made the mistake of going the opposite direction (turning left to start) because it looked like an easier beginning, but then I ended up turning too early and going up a series of brutal switchbacks where there was a constant stream of mountain bikers instead of continuing straight where the trail would have eventually turned back. Moral of the story: it's probably a lot easier to stay on the right trail if you turn right at the beginning!
Heavily biked and trafficked trail with full exposure. just a quick little hike around the hood.
Easy enough for two beginners. Trail is very busy & has some steep parts.
Good variation of small uphill sections with flat and downhill. Really good for beginner trail running.
Near Denver and pretty easy. Nice views of Red Rocks and the Front Range. Denver in the distance. Lots of bikers, but not much traffic. No shade at all but it was cool and breezy...
Super busy trail even during the quarantine. But beautiful for being so close to town
