Great easy trail. Awesome choice for a quick hike. The trailhead is easy to find, trail is easy to follow, and the views are great for the amount of effort you put out.

It is an easy trail and well worth the hike. Pack plenty of water especially if it is a hot day, very little shade. There are some steep parts but they aren’t long so it is very doable.

Awesome for a quick hike to a cool ending! Though it's short and well maintained, there is a bit of scrambling at the end to actually get into the arch, so I would actually classify it as moderate, but short.

Great hike but I wouldn't classify as easy maybe moderate. The only reason is because for easy I think of beginner Hikers and for this trail you want to have some experience before hiking it.

Great little trail. We’ve been twice now once in the snow and today in the dry. Couple of climbs. Rock scramble to the top. We took the jetboil and made lunch in the arch. Gets some funny looks when you’re packing like that for a two mile run, but we’re working the kids into it for longer trips. It was cooler in the arch with a nice breeze we ended up with jackets on sitting down in the shade until we headed back down. There was one tree across the path in a little ravine, but it’s easy enough to walk around.

Mountain Biking: YES, it is in the early planning stages. There is a possibility that we could have mountain biking here sometime in the summer of 2020. This will be totally separate from the hiking trail. Stay tuned. Join RAMBO Facebook for updates.

The initial incline was the hardest part and the rest of the trail was quite easy. The climb up the arch is a bit of a free for all but totally worth it! I found the best path up the rocks was on the left side when looking up.

This arch was really amazing! The very last bit of the trail up to the arch is a bit of a scramble, but looking at the arch from the bottom is very cool as well. I highly recommend going up if you have the capacity though. The trail itself is a bit muddy, but a very easy walk.

I do this trail often with my pups. Get into the arch if you are able to boulder a little. It’s much better in the fall, winter, or early spring—whenever it’s much cooler. I do avoid going in the summer because there are rattle snakes.

Worth the climb to the arch! There are definitely some inclines on the way. Beautiful, but little shade. There’s a spot where it looks like the trail splits three ways, stay left.

solid. very little shade from the sun during the day. we went around 430 pm and there were pockets of shade on the way up, comfortable sunset on the way back. three distinct points require climbing, otherwise a comfy flat stroll. the three points will get your heart rate up, for sure. gets pretty intense if you want to climb to the arch itself, but you can always sit on the bench before the final incline and enjoy the view.

It is an enjoyable hike. High desert for most of the way so there is little shade until you get closer to the arch. Once you get to the base of the final incline there is a bench to sit back and enjoy. The climb to the top of the trail that ends under the arch is very steep and rocky so if you brought your dog but you want to see the top you might want to consider tying him to that bench. I didn’t realize how steep that climb was until I got to the top and started to make my way down. It gave me a little rush of vertigo!
