Really enjoyed this hike. This is the first 14er I have done. I'm from Utah, and due to the high starting altitude at the TH, I thought this trail was a little easier than some of the 10,000-11,000 ft. peaks I have hiked near home. The trail is easy to follow and progresses nicely from the shade of trees, to the stream and meadow, then to the ridge. The final ascent to the summit is steep but nothing that requires special skills or daredevil attitudes. The views from the top were breathtaking. My dad also really enjoyed it, although he did not want to go all of the way to the peak.
