Great for toddlers and carrying babies (no strollers). Busy on the weekends, but not crazy. Definitely worth the time for a fun family afternoon hike.
One of my favorite easy hikes, usually busy though.
Scenic hike but very short. Visit the amp if you haven’t visited before
This is a great trail for visitors from out of state or for those who want a just a little adventure close to the metro area! It’s easy and short, but some really pretty views along the way. It is usually busy. Plan on visiting the amphitheater and museum, and the Trading Post (with new museum additions)!
Easy hike around the Red Rocks. Definitely stop and go inside of the Amphitheatre if you haven’t seen it before !
Beautiful views but a little busy
Easy and fun!

Beautiful views from every angle, friendly people on the trail every time we go, great way to get out and be active! Bring your camera and friends too! Dogs love it also.
Lots of people but great easy hike with great views. We were able to carry our 10 month old in a soft carrier without any issues.
Beautiful views. Great easy hike!
It was 65 out and absolutely beautiful. We went during the day and it was very busy. Stunning views! The trail does get thin in places which makes it hard to pass people coming in the opposite direction especially if you have a dog with you. We had a great overall though. We will definitely be back.
Close by and easy trail. Great views.
Very pretty views and not much shade. I️f you don’t want to hike up a bunch of stairs I️ recommend parking down in the south lot. Beware the north lot!!
Good quick hike, then get a cardio workout at the amphitheatre, then hike back to your car. A good 4-5 hr hike. Morning best to avoid the crowds (i went on a Friday)
Cute, easy trail with beautiful red rocks all around. The views of the city are nice from here as well! It wasn’t the most exciting trail and the shrubbery was pretty brown and dead in January, but still a great walk.
Great little hike around the rocks. Easy access so be prepared for lots of people. However trail is wide so not an issue.
Close to town, quick getaway with grandkids.
Very easy & scenic hike.Make sure to park in front of the gift shop for easy access to this trail.Besides the trading post trail, check out the Red rocks stadium itself- people are exercising and the view is beautiful.
Nice easy walk around the rock formations close to the amphitheater. Great short hike, particularly for out of town guests who aren’t used to altitude. Make sure you stop in the Colorado Music Hall of Fame display. A treat for John Denver fans!
Easy gravel paved walk for little kids with beautiful scenery to enjoy.
easy little loop, pretty touristy though, definitely going to run it next time
Nice little trail, busy though. Lots of people with dogs, lots of pics being taken, kid friendly too.
Be sure and Walk through the amphitheater too. Amazing views. Saw a family of antelope as soon as I drove into the park.
Short 1.5 mile with some climbs & a beautiful view
Beautiful easy hike
I'm from flatlands/low lands and this was a good easy trail to take on near Denver. I saw deer, lots of wildflowers, and a nice quiet spot to sketch. Bring water if you're not used to the elevation.
Fairly easy scenic hike
Tasty rocks! Saw a baby bunny on the trail, butterflies, and plenty wildflowers.
