Nice easy walk around the rock formations close to the amphitheater. Great short hike, particularly for out of town guests who aren’t used to altitude. Make sure you stop in the Colorado Music Hall of Fame display. A treat for John Denver fans!

I'm from flatlands/low lands and this was a good easy trail to take on near Denver. I saw deer, lots of wildflowers, and a nice quiet spot to sketch. Bring water if you're not used to the elevation.

This is a gorgeous trail. Great one to do with little ones, or with visitors from out of town. Stunning views in every direction.

Pretty cool trail. Would have been a lot more fun if you could explore the rock but unfortunately, it's fenced off.

Good but short

Great easy trail but does have some incline and narrow paths. It's perfect for out of town guests (who are comfortable with the equivalent of walking up and down stairs). Beautiful views of red rocks and nearby the theater.

Nice quick loop with good views. It'll get your heart rate up. Crosses the road twice, I think.

This trail was not easy for a beginner but WELL WORTH THE WALK

Great hike! Not too long- good for beginners. Our little dogs loved it. First hike with my husband on the mountains- definitely a beautiful memory. Wear non slip shoes- the red rocks can be slick.

We parked in the upper lot by the concert venue, descended the stairs on the right hand side (south) and hiked the trail counter-clockwise ending up at the museum and then back up the stairs.

A concert was due to start in a few hours and they had already closed the venue to non-ticket holders. Fortunately, they let us back in to reach the car in the upper lot.
