Incredible views. Definitely a steep climb up and very rocky, but the second half was much easier.

I found a Subaru key at the trail head. Message here if you lost yours

Beautiful hike at 6am. Limited traffic and wonderful views. I’ll bring the kids back another day.

Perfect moderate hike for a quick morning or evening hike. Took about an hour and a half to complete the trail- could have finished quicker if we didn’t stop to take in the views. Also a good hike for an in-shape dog. We took our pup with us and he had a blast! There are a few rocky/slippery gravel sections- but nothing dangerous, just take your time.

Overall a great trail, it was very rocky on the way up and down so be careful. Very steep on the way up but the view from the top is worth it. There were a lot of people on the lower trail so make sure to get there early.

Beautiful views and very well marked. I did, however, decide to descend on what I thought was the trail and found myself sliding on kisses rock and dirt. Not hurt but had to creep cautiously. I had a great time.

6/10/20 – Beautiful moderate trail with nice upper views of Red Rocks. Minimal shade. Pretty popular trail; I’d avoid on the weekends.

Some Road closures. Parked at top of Red rocks park road east. All uphill for about 3/4 mile then flattens out. Lots of flowers, nice view. Not too busy either at 330 pm

Fun easy trail for a bunch of flatlanders. Little bummed that Redbox is closed. Was extremely busy.

Really fun and slightly challenging as we are finally getting out for the season. Saw a rattlesnake basking on the trail and was able to safely move it out of harms way. Great hike and close to home

Easy enough. Great trails in the area best to work the mountain face first.

My friend and I went on a sunday. You definitely need to go early before the crowds come rushing in on the weekends. Look out, there were rattle snakes. Keep an eye out. People were nice enough to tell us where they were. Great hike and work out! It kicked my butt!

Great moderate trail. Amazing views. We went yesterday. You definitely want to come early. We got there around 9:30 am and it was already getting crowded. There is not much shade so make sure you bring plenty of water for you and your dog. Will definitely do this trail again would love to see the sunset when you are on top of the mountain.

Watch out! Spotted 2 snakes right on the trail today - and the trail was busy, barely got a parking spot. They are out and soaking up the sun. Other that that, pretty trail with great views or red rocks and the hogback. Pretty exposed, wear sunscreen.

Great moderate hike for evening weeknights. Beautiful views with undulating terrain. It was a bit crowded near the bottom but thinned out up top. The trail is wide enough in most spots for hikers, bikers and pikers to coexist peacefully. The trail summit is a somewhat long flat/rolling section with many places to relax and take in the views of Morrison.

Pretty busy trail. Easy incline hike and a good work out. Can't see the amphitheater but great view of the red rocks.
