Took a 10 and a 12 year old; very cool hike, definitely some scrambling at the top, so have some good boots and watch your footing. I do agree that if you're afraid of heights that you should find a different trail. The 10 and 12 year old had no issue navigating the rocks.

This is not an easy trail - don’t take kids or dogs. There are sections where you are walking the spine with sheer drop offs either side. If you have any fear of heights - don’t do it. There are sections where you are scaling rocks and going across the face. It was strenuous - one of our group quit. Yes the views across Aspen Golf Club were fantastic but no what your getting yourself into.
