This trail was fun and magical! I would recommend it for anyone who likes to explore! All of the trails from the side parking lot pass the lake and continue to the rock steps. There are several side and main trails from there!

Quarry pond not really worth the walk, that said, there are a few shaded spots to just sit and relax if you just want something outdoors.

Beautiful easy hike with little to no shade. Biggest suggestion is that they add garbage cans as the trails are used by Forrest rangers and their trucks so it would be easily collected. As a dog owner I was disgusted by how many irresponsible litter bugs took the time to actually bag their dogs crap and then left said bags littered along the trail! Seriously?!?!

This is a great beginner trail to wonder around in with some scenery that would make the hike well worth it. My wife and I had a great tome here during her visit, but I should have convinced her sense of adventure to continue to Bear Creek Canon Park!

HikingNo shade

We did most of this trail and then took Greenlee down. It was pretty hot in the canyon at 9am and there's not a ton of shade. Overall the trail wasn't bad it does get pretty narrow though once you're going towards the summit.
