Do not attempt the descent from the north side indicated on this map when there’s snow on the ground. The path becomes a river of slush and uncontrolled falls could easily be fatal. The ascent was beautiful, consider an out and back from the south side during the winter.

Nice spot in the middle of town. I'm from Florida so I know nothing about this area. it's an easy hike to get to and you feel safe because your surrounded by urbanization. I can't give it 5 stars because it's not secluded enough. also I hiked at 5:30 am so it was dark the whole time. i definitely wanna hit this place again when the sun is shining. the best part is at the top where you can climb boulders. can be slippery when coming back down though.

nice little walk. getting on the rock was cool, but being right off the highway made it a little less enjoyable.

Love this trail. Fun hike and great views. You will always find plenty of people on pulpit rock though, so if you like solitude this trail is not for you.

Beautiful day for this trail, but only if you've got traction for your boots. It's either snowy and icy, or it's muddy and slick where it's melted over. Wouldn't recommend today in boots alone, and definitely NOT in trail-runners. But, with microspikes it's very doable, and the views are delightful!
