The trail is difficult to follow if you’re trail running. I went the wrong numerous times, luckily the app let me know when I was off course. It’s also longer than 4.2 miles. It’s closer to 5.2. Take water!!!

Overall a nice hike. Got off the trail a few times so had to rely on the app to get us back on. Such cool rock formations and lots of places to stop and take pictures.

The trail is pretty much impossible to follow on the way down. On the way up however, i just used whichever trails seemed to rise. A bit of a scramble with pretty much two 10 foot straight up climbs to reach the very top. It's really nice up there. Watch your step!

Windy trails that are sometimes hard to follow. Due to the washouts, I often ended up in areas that were dead ends. If going up the steep inclines, a trekking pole is recommended. I've done it both with one, and without one, and my trekking pole saved me so many times. Dirt is loose and it's easy to slip.

Trails of many abilities. The pulpit gets a bit crowded go early. Plenty of photo ops.

Warning::: Our car window was smashed on a Saturday evening when we went out to hike. Thankfully we didn’t have anything valuable stolen, but we were not the only broken into vehicle, and another pulled in as we were dealing with it and said hers was broken into before too. So beware!!! As far as the trail, we loved it. It was as easy or difficult as you want. We used a lot of the loop but also took some paths off the route. Beautiful rocks. Definitely hot, very little shade

Nice early quick morning hike. Not marked well you just find your own trail after a mile. You can’t get lost. Also nice brush for a little shade. N way down crossed over up a hill to look around at city. Nice views I would do this trail again.
