Drove out here from Denver to see a huge "No Trespassing. Property of the Mining Company" sign. Needless to say, I did not want to trespass, so we ended up going to Golden Gate Canyon State Park instead. Not only was this trail un-hikable, the road getting there was steep, narrow, and on the side of a mountain. No, thanks! If people really do hike here, where do they go for a trail?!

We enjoyed the hike! Close to town and yet a nice moderate hike up the hill with great views of Idaho Springs and surrounding mountains. Then we went and ate at Da Rivuh a local eatery with amazing food!!!

Not actually a trail, but a road with cars passing by. Nonetheless, beautiful views!
