The drive to get there is an OHV trail itself. Make sure to have a high clearance vehicle. Plan about 2.5 hours to get up there. The trail becomes hidden in certain places so make sure to download your map. (No service throughout most of it) The views are absolutely amazing though! There is basically a 360 view of the Billings Lake and much of the mountain range. It was about 60 degrees, but there were still patches of snow low enough touch.

you will need a 4x4 with good clearance to make it to the trailhead...but even at the beginning of trailhead you get beautiful view of two of the 6 lakes we saw throughout this hike. Once you get about 1/4 mile into the trail it disappears so make sure to have your all trails map pulled up before you get out there(or do like we did and just go straight up lol). All in all for it not being that long of a hike in length it makes up for it in the 1100ft gain you get in the last 3/4 mile. I will say that the work is rewarded with a beautiful 360 view with mountains for miles and miles as well as being able to see 6 bodies of water from the top. I recommend this hike.

Beautiful cirque around the bowl, detour to a small pond. Fair amount of snow fields yet. Should be gone very soon. Amazing view down the valley, and of course an abandoned mine because, why not.
