Generally an easy-to-moderate hike, entirely on a prepared / groomed trail. The trail is really more like a fire access road, wide enough for a vehicle (though the road is closed to vehicle traffic during the winter). If you’re looking for a mountain hike, this is likely not the trail you’d be looking for. The trail gets a moderate rating due to incline rather than technical skill required, though as noted elsewhere, the worst of the incline is in the beginning. The hike was perhaps most remarkable for the silent beauty...we didn’t see or here another person the entire hike, and there weren’t even footprints in the snow later in the hike. The start of the trail is somewhat further up Little Valley Rd than marked here, though the point marked in AllTrails is the best parking (which is extremely limited). All in all, we had a good hike on a beautiful day.
