Excellent hike, steep in some areas. Well worth the journey especially if you find that you have the lake all to yourself; however I wouldn’t swim in it, there are leeches.... great fishing though, beautiful scenery, watch for cattle.

Good exercise and beautiful views. Overgrown in some areas. We were looking forward to swimming in the lake but it was too shallow and muddy. More like a pond.

Fairly moderate trail. Does get difficult at times. Stunning scenery all the way to the lake.
