My two young kids and I did this and loved it! Not hard at all & not too busy with traffic!

You can actually get 3 miles out of this park if you cross the road and visit both sides. It’s an easy trail almost completely flat with lovely views of the mountains.

Great trail. Usually wider, but with the snow there was a small packed section that was easier to walk on. Flat trail with great views of the snowy mountains. Lots of dogs.

Easy walk, really buggy. Nothing thrilling but easy and accessible.

Easy walk, part of the trail is under water and we had to turn around.

Nice walk around the lakes on gravel path. Bits of shade and some benches for relaxing. One end was washed out (several inches of water several feet across) forced us to turn back.

Definitely a walk, not a hike, but there's a nice wide gravel path and good views.

Pella is highly trafficked during most days, there are a lot of fishermen/women and very helpful little collector pipes for your used lines, sinkers, etc. It also has a well shaded picnic shelter. The trail is very flat and easy and you may run across some wildlife like turtles, beavers, and deer! Overall a pretty nice trail!

Kind of wet and muddy - but it is Jan 31st. Beautiful view of Long’s Peak. I’ll come back when it’s warmer!

Two clean and well-stocked pit toilets at the trailhead, as well as a trash and recycling can. The end of the lot is designated for trailer pull-through parking. Expect no shade, but a very wide and open view perfect for watching the sun descend behind the mountains at dusk.

Beautiful ponds with lots of waterfowl

Hot. Very exposed trail with little shade. Halfway the trail dips down and it was water covered so we couldn’t do the whole thing. Pretty disappointing!
