Peewink Mountain Trail is a 3.7 mile lightly trafficked out and back trail located near Boulder, Colorado that features a great forest setting and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for scenic driving and off road driving and is best used from April until October.

Super easy road (we saw Subaru’s and even a Nissan Sentra). Not necessarily 4WD required. Short and close to denver. Great campsites. Not busy at all (Saturday July 7, 2018). We appreciated that the Sugarloaf Fire Department provides a campfire dousing station at the start of the trail.

Peewink Mountain is an easy dirt road but has great views. It has several short fingers that lead to campsites and at the end 3 others spurs. One of them leads to an old mine. if you'd like to see a video of the trail I have one up at:
